What is NEET?

National Eligibility and Entrance Test or NEET is the one examination which would be considered for filling about 91,000 medical seats across the country. As per the Supreme Court’s order in 2016, NEET would be the only examination to fill the All India Quota Seats as well as the State Level Quota seats across the country. The examination is also valid for filling the private college seats across the country.

Can I crack NEET if I start preparing now?

Yes, you can crack NEET if you diligently start studying for NEET now. Make a proper study schedule. Dedicate sufficient number of hours and study thoroughly. Solving previous years questions and sample papers will also prove to be beneficial. 

What is the upper age limit for NEET and how many attempts are allowed?

The good news is that there is no upper age limit for aspiring candidates of NEET as notified by NTA. Also, there is no limit on the number of attempts a student can make for NEET. So, do not lose hope if you do not qualify for NEET this year. You still have a chance next year.

What is fullform of NEET (UG)?

Since 2019, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been conducting the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource Development approved the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) (UG) for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions, including those controlled by any other law in force (which is now known as the Ministry of Education).

When will the NEET (UG) - 2022 exam be held?

17 July 2022 (Sunday).

Will the exam be conducted in person or online?

NEET (UG) – 2022 is a pen-and-paper test that must be taken on a specially developed machine-gradable OMR sheet with a ballpoint pen.

Is it necessary to upload certificates for Gen-EWS, SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwD?

Yes, Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD applicants must upload original certificates in the specified forms given by their respective State’s Competent Authority. In the event that a candidate does not have the certificate on hand, he or she might upload the self undertaking from the Information Bulletin.
